Sooo the books are here
So I bought the books I said I'd read by august, but they only now arrived lol. I guess it's a challenge for september then. I began reading Remaking Manhood by Mark Greene, and it is already quite interesting. I was personally born in a family that does not stereotype gender roles: my sibilings and I were brought up equally, yet as soon as I began school I began feeling that abyss of difference between males and females. Point is, this book is a nice place to begin reflecting about gender roles, and how the way that men are brought up affects greatly their whole lives and society itself in a very negative way. Of course, I can't say anything yet about it as I haven't finished it, but it's nice for now. It's not exactly extremely detailed, as it is a collection of articles, in particular written for the Good Men Project. I'll give a complete comment as soon as I end :)
